Fallout Season 2 Premiere Promotional Package
CREATIVE MARKETING
For my major project, I designed a speculative promotional "survival kit" package for the Season 2 premiere of Amazon Prime's hit TV show Fallout. The kit includes custom-branded props like KD Blamco Mac & Cheese, Kellogg's Sugar Bombs Cereal, Jones' Sunset Sarsaparilla, a Vault-Tec-inspired hoodie, and a “Wasteland Survival Guide” filled with lore, character info, and key plot points from Season 1. The goal was to create an immersive, collectible press kit that blended real-world brands with Fallout’s fictional universe. This project combined my passion for prop design, marketing, packaging, and editorial design, and taught me how to craft cohesive, story-driven experiences that connect with audiences on multiple levels.
Each item was designed, printed and assembled, painted, or sewn in order to produce a physical final iteration of my designs.

Tools used: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro
"Survival Kit" Box
My promo kit is delivered in this Vault-Tec branded box. Marketed as a "Survival Kit" for vault dwellers who are looking to venture out to the wasteland, it is meant to help viewers feel more immersed in the Fallout universe. The sides of the box feature the Fallout Season 2 and the Amazon Prime Video logos. For this iteration of the box, I hand painted each element. These kits are meant to be sent out to influencers, journalists, critics, and gamers in time for the Season 2 premiere of Fallout on Amazon Prime in April of 2026!
Kellogg's Sugar Bombs Breakfast Cereal
This cereal box design draws heavy inspiration from the Sugar Bombs breakfast cereal featured in the Fallout video games and season 1 of the show. My goal was to stay true to the original Fallout aesthetic while blending it with the recognizable style of a real-world brand like Kellogg’s. By incorporating details such as a nutritional label, ingredients list, and a fun maze on the back, I aimed to make the box feel like a believable product you might actually find on store shelves. I also ensured to include both English and French labels to make it a special Canadian product.

Kellogg's Sugar Bombs Breakfast Cereal has explosive great taste! This cereal has rad-resistant properties and will help vault dwellers survive the harsh environment of the wasteland. As part of the "Survival Kit", it is a tasty snack that viewers can enjoy while watching the season 2 premiere of Fallout.
KD's Blamco Mac & Cheese
Just like I did with the Kellogg’s Sugar Bombs cereal, I wanted to pair the Fallout brand Blamco Mac & Cheese with a real-world counterpart—Kraft Dinner (KD). I included similar design elements to help it feel like a genuine, store-bought product. The addition of a “Special Edition” label adds a sense of exclusivity, making it feel more like a collectible item within the context of the “Survival Kit” promo packages.

KD's Blamco Mac & Cheese is the perfect meal to enjoy while out in the wasteland. Offering low level rad-resistance and cheesy great taste, it is an essential provision to include in the "Survival Kit". Viewers can enjoy an easy, cheesy pasta dinner while watching the season 2 premiere of Fallout.
Jones Soda's Sunset Sarsaparilla
For the third brand collaboration, I paired Jones Soda with Fallout’s iconic Sunset Sarsaparilla. With season 2 of Fallout expected to kick off in New Vegas—the in-universe home of the Sunset Sarsaparilla Company—featuring this beverage in the Survival Kit felt like a natural and essential tie-in. I preserved the original Sunset Sarsaparilla logo and colour palette while adapting the design to match the recognizable layout of a Jones Soda label. Labeling it as a “Special Release” further enhances its exclusivity and promotional value.

Build mass, with sass! Vault dwellers can enjoy the refreshing taste of Jones Soda's Sunset Sarsaparilla while venturing out into the wasteland, and viewers can enjoy a bottle while enjoying the season 2 premiere of Fallout.
A Vault Dweller's Jumpsuit Hoodie
As a bonus item in the “Survival Kit,” I included a hoodie inspired by the iconic vault dweller jumpsuits. This piece is modeled after the one worn by Fallout’s main character, Lucy MacLean, in season 1. It features her vault number—33—on the back, along with the Vault-Tec logo on the front, all in the brand’s signature yellow and blue. To mark it as a special promotional item for season 2, I added “FS2” to the back. With this cozy Vault-Tec hoodie, fans can settle in for the second season premiere feeling like part of the Fallout universe themselves—bringing a little of the vault life into their own world.
The Vault Dweller's Survival Guide
To round out the “Survival Kit,” I created a small booklet that provides an overview of key plot points, characters, and lore from Fallout season 1, along with descriptions of the items included in the kit itself. I designed the guide as an official Vault-Tec "Survival Guide" publication—presented in the polished, corporate voice of one of the Fallout universe’s major (and notoriously shady) corporations. To contrast this clean facade, I added "hand written" red pen annotations throughout the booklet, as if someone who’s lived through the harsh realities of the wasteland—and uncovered the truth about Vault-Tec—had marked it up. This visual and narrative contrast adds a layer of mystery and mirrors the duality central to the show: vault dwellers enjoy a seemingly idyllic life underground, trusting Vault-Tec’s promises, while the surface world tells a much darker, messier story of survival. With the truth about Vault-Tec revealed at the end of season 1, we can expect even more secrets to come to light in season 2.
